Nick and Trudy, with three decades of wine expertise, are the heart and soul of Clandestine Vineyards. They possess the vision to transform each vintage from vine to glass.

About Nick & Trudy Stacy, owners and vintners

Nick began his wine journey at 16, curating an impressive collection of Australian wines. By 23, he founded a successful wine distribution business, later selling it to LVMH in 2003. He then joined West Cape Howe Wines and co-founded Vinaceous Wines in 2007. In 2020, Nick and his wife Trudy acquired Clandestine Vineyards. Nick’s love for Chablis, cooking, vintage cars, and humor define his devotion to wine. He was recognized in Wine Business Monthly Magazine’s Top 50 Stars of the Australian Wine Industry in 2011 and 2013.

Trudy brings over 30 years of project management experience and hospitality expertise. Her love for Champagne, Burgundy, and travel has honed her palate. Trudy’s passion lies in creating memorable events and spaces while learning from leading winemakers.
